Meetings and congresses

Tampere is well prepared to welcome international congresses.

Tampere Hall, the largest purpose-built congress and concert centre in Scandinavia, can easily accommodate up to 2,000 delegates. Besides Tampere Hall, there are several other good congress venues in town.

Tampere's hotels, conference venues, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance of the city centre. The rich culture as well as the beautiful lakeland area around Tampere offer versatile possibilities for all kinds of excursions.

In the evenings, Tampere offers the very best of city life: theatres, concert halls, pubs and restaurants.

Detailed information on conference venues and programmes for participants is available from Tampere Convention Bureau.

Information on events during any given congress and at other times in Tampere is available in the Calendar of Events.
