Tampere Parking Houses Ltd has several multi-storey car parks in the heart of the city. There are signs and directions on road leading to the city centre (in Finnish: "keskusta").

Street parking is another option, although it may sometimes be difficult to find a vacant space in the immediate city centre.
In the centre, there are over 4,000 short-term parking spaces in streets and parking lots in the city centre. They are liable to a parking fee, and the maximum duration of parking in them is 1-4 hours, depending on the zone.
Outside the immediate city centre there are also street parking bays available for longer-term parking.
