Taxi

In Tampere (and the rest of Finland), you normally don't flag a taxi or try to get one on the move, but call for one by phone. In Tampere, the telephone is 100 41 (incl. Airport Cabs), from mobile phones or other parts of Finland the number is 0100 4131.

You can also get a taxi from the nearest taxi rank. In the centre, there are taxi ranks at the railway and bus stations, Keskustori central square, Pyynikintori square, Tampere Hall and in front of the Sokos Hotel Ilves.
